CoE Provost Pays Working Visit to Wa Learning Centre

Professor Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe, Provost of the College of Education, University of Ghana, recently completed a two-day working visit to the Wa Learning Centre. The visit was part of his initiative to familiarise himself with the challenges and concerns of the College's Learning Centres in the various regions.

During a meeting with the Centre's staff, Professor Codjoe expressed his appreciation for their warm welcome, acknowledged the current challenges faced by the Centre as well as the University’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the Centres. He emphasised the importance of improving the sustainability of the Learning Centres and announced that he had tasked all Centre Coordinators to submit to him proposals on how each Centre plans to enhance their sustainability.

After the discussion, Dr. Marshall Kala, the Centre Coordinator, led the Provost and his team on an inspection of the facility. The Provost was accompanied by Mrs. Joycelyn Boateng (College Human Resource Officer); Ms. Dorinda Nbinmah Yeboah (Assistant Registrar – Provost’s Office); Ms. Agnes Baidoo (Assistant Registrar – Public Affairs Directorate); Ms. Trinity Treve (Management Accountant); Mr. Prince Boateng Blay (Senior Administrative Assistant (Provost’s Office); Mr. Edward Opoku-Gyan, Senior Administrative Assistant (Academic Affairs); Mr. Nicholas Asamoah (Department of Teacher Education) and Mr. Francis A. Quaning (Department of Teacher Education).
